STORAGE:
Smithfield Country Ham slices may be refrigerated unopened for up to 6 weeks, or opened and tightly wrapped for up to 10 days, and still maintain maximum flavor. Tightly wrapped ham slices (do not use aluminum foil) may also be frozen.
THAWING:
If frozen, please thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
HEATING:
Your country ham slices are uncooked. We suggest heating in a frying pan approximately 2-3 minutes per side until fully cooked.
SEASONING:
Smithfield Country Ham slices are dry cured with sugar and salt. No further seasoning is recommended.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

HEATING:
Skillet Method – Place bacon slices in unheated skillet. Cook slowly over low heat to desired crispness, turning occasionally.
Oven Method – Preheat oven to 400°F. Place bacon slices on a broiler rack or shallow baking pan. Bake 15-17 minutes or to desired crispness.
SEASONING:
No further seasoning is recommended.

RESTAURANT STYLE SAUSAGE PATTIES
Your sausage patties have been pre-cooked and flash frozen to lock in natural flavor, ships with dry ice in a recyclable Styrofoam cooler and will arrive frozen. Please freeze upon receipt, if not immediately consuming.
STORAGE:
Keep frozen until ready to heat.
THAWING:
Pre-cooked sausage patties do not require thawing for heating. However, If you prefer to heat from a thawed state, thaw only the patties you will be heating, in the refrigerator overnight.
HEATING:
Skillet or Griddle Method – Preheat to Medium 350°F. Place patties on griddle and heat for approximately 2 minutes per side (if thawed) or 3 minutes (if frozen).
Oven Method (Conventional) – Preheat oven to 350°F. Place patties on broiler rack or shallow baking pan and cook for approximately 7-9 minutes (if thawed) or 9-11 minutes (if frozen).
Oven Method (Convection) – Preheat oven to 325°F. Place patties on broiler rack or shallow baking pan and cook for approximately 3-4 minutes (if thawed) or 5-6 minutes (if frozen).
Microwave – Place frozen patties in a microwave safe dish. Cook on high for 30 second intervals until product reaches recommended serving temperature.

No further seasoning is recommended.
